Positive Aspects
Risk Factors
Negatives
- •The entire premise is building and running an illegal drug trafficking operation, and players manufacture and sell marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms.
- •Players can directly smoke marijuana and meth and snort cocaine in first person, and non-player characters use drugs frequently.
- •Violence with guns, knives and improvised weapons, stylised blood effects, coarse language and crude comedic nudity are present.
- •Simulated gambling with in-game currency is part of the content.
- •Online co-op includes in-game voice chat that is not consistently moderated, and players often move conversations to outside apps like Discord.
Positives
- •Co-op play for up to four people encourages planning and dividing up jobs like growing, selling and managing property.
- •Running the business involves budgeting, pricing and logistics, which gives players practice in resource planning and arithmetic.
- •Bought once for a flat price with no microtransactions or in-game store, so there is no spending pressure after purchase.
- •An active modding community lets technically minded players build and share their own custom content.
